The Scotia Lodge is for Sale

 

The historic Scotia Lodge is for sale This would be a great opportunity as well as a huge challenge to take this property a step further. I love the look of the place. The building seems so open arms for a Horror film or Ghost movie to be shot here, look at the front desk.

and up above this is a really cool Mezzanine to relax in or spy on the people down below. 

Now the joint has a really cool downstairs bar designed like an old speak easy.

I think it looks pretty good. 

The lodge has one of the largest commerical kitchens in the area. There is plenty of dining space as well.

The rooms look nice but you will notice a current setback in the fact there is no air conditioning. Notice the fan in the room here. 

but the rooms that are functional right now, just 22 rooms at the moment do have some style to them.

The lodge also has spa facilities which offer facial and full body massage as well as tub soaks for any treatment.

Now the outside is very classic and unique. 

and it has little nooks and sitting rooms everywhere.

Now to complete the reconstruction the current owners tried to crowd fund for an outdoor pool. The crowd funding did not raise enough money. A pool is a great idea but I recommend that the new owner's of Scotia Lodge proceed with the pool but it must be unique and a big draw. Make the pool another profit center and even non guests of the lodge can use the pool for a fee. My idea for the pool is to make it the only pool in the world shaped as the STARSHIP ENTERPRISE. 

So the pool is in this shape. In the middle of the disk portion of the ship would be the elevated bridge area containg a large hot tub. So the hot tub is in the direct middle with steps going up to it. The Nacelles (The two long torpedo shaped tubes on either side) would have orange colored hot tubs at the head of the tubes but the rest of the tube are like lap pools for swimmers to train in. The rest of the body is very deep for practicing deep dives. It would be the only Enterprise shaped pool in the world and I think a big draw for people to visit. Think how cool it would look. 

Star Trek isn't just a television show or movie, it's practically a religion and I think fans of the show would want to come here and swim in the pool or just people with basic curiosity and the novelty of the idea. Anyhow the lodge is for sale, it is a work in progress but I think it is important to preserve it and restore all the rooms in the lodge back to working order with the added twist of a USS Enterprise swimming pool. Scotia Lodge for sale
