The Sacred Rock Inn is for sale in Elk, California. Back in 2016 I was inspired to travel to Mendocino, California in honor of my father who passed away. Before he passed I would watch a lot of murder mystery shows on DVD with him. He loved to watch MURDER SHE WROTE with Angela Lansbury because Lansbury would always bring on old movie stars like Turhan Bay from the golden age of film and guest star them on the show. Now the show took place in the mythical town of Cabot Cove, Maine but in reality it was Mendocino, California. Here is a photo of the Blair House B&B which was used as the home of Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) in Mendocino. I made the journey in 2016 and explored the town and the trails around it.
