Cripple Creek, Colorado has some challenges. It is located at an altitude of 9,494 feet which is approximately 2,894 meters for you "Metric People". So it is much harder to breathe at such a high altitude but the air is probably clean. Cripple Creek was a gold mining boom town and had a population of 55,000 people. It is less then 2,000 now. Tourists come here to explore an old mining town but mainly for the gambling. The small town is lousy with casino's. Anyhow this hotel is purportedly haunted. The building use to be a hospital.
