It is time to rebuild the Vaughn Hotel

 

This magnificent hotel was built in 1925. It attracted movie stars ranging from Clark Gable to Marlene Dietrich. It burned down in 1983 from arson. It needs to be restored to its proper glory.

Jacumba Hot Springs is a small town near San Diego and a stone's throw from Mexico. It was a very popular destination resort but  then fell upon hard times when the new highway detoured traffic away from it. Any place with a hot springs has potential but this one was proven. With people wanting to escape the city, now is the perfect time to go someplace a little more off the beaten path so I think it is imperative someone develop a new grand resort.

I thought a lot about this place after discovering it last night and I need to suggest this idea.
