After watching Lucy Hale in the movie BORREGO and Madison Lintz's character in the tv show BOSCH grieving for her deceased mother at Borrego it was a no brainer to feature this hotel for sale in the fascinating desert world of Borrego Springs. Now things to do while you are staying at the motel would be to visit Galleta Meadows to view the incredible sculptures made by amazing artist Ricardo Breceda. Fantastic photo opportunities. Look how cool these are. Behold the Desert Dragon!

and these are only a few examples of the 130 sculptures there are to view at Galleta Meadows. Borrego is also only 36 miles from the Salton Sea Beach. The Salton Sea was the foolhardy investment of the Rat Pack and others where they were trying to create a resort community that would compete with Palm Springs which turned into a biological nightmare from chemical pollution by farmers. The Salton Sea With an appearance now of something like out of the PLANET OF THE APES people go there to photograph the ghost town like destruction.
