A Bolwoningen Resort on Green Island, Wisconsin.

 

My idea is a Bolwoningen Resort on Green Island, Wisconsin which is for sale at the moment. Green Island, Wisconsin for sale

Look at this 87 acre beauty! A perfect place for a Bolwoningen Resort! Created and designed by Dries Kreijkamp who said: "The earth is a sphere, our birth is from a sphere (womb) and we should all live in spheres." Obviously a prophet, seer, and revelator of architecture!

Now the  the actual interiors don't look to bad but I think modified for resort purposes. 

and you can see a more sparsely decorated interior while the photo above shows part of the living room and kitchen. 

I would modify the Bolwoningen with Solar panels on top outside to generate electricity along with a windmill to generate power since there is apparently none on the island. This would be in keeping with the name of the island. As for fresh water perhaps a well could be dug since there are signs of human habitation with the ruins of a lighthouse on the island. You would need to install a septic system obviously of some sort as well as a way to procure fresh water if the well idea does not work. Plenty of water around the lake but not safe to drink so some sort of purification process would be needed. Also a water taxi or ferry system would be needed to get guests to the island. 

They need a restaurant as well serving famous Wisconsin dishes like Butter Burgers, Cornish Pasties, Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup, Kringles, Macaroni & Cheese Pizza's, Fried Cheese Curds, and Wisconsin Venison, Walleye, and of course the poor man's lobster the humble Burbit and the venerable Boo Yah Stew with Sprecher root beer to wash it all down!

There is a beach in place for spring breaker types. Here is a photo with the old ruined lighthouse in the photo,

and of course you could offer fishing, swimming, boating, and all the other waters sports etc. Here is another photo of the beach. 

The island could be promoted as the home of the MISS CHEESEHEAD BEAUTY CONTEST where it is required for the beauty contestants to proudly wear their cheese head in the talent, swimwear, and evening gown competition and answer such challenging questions like as to which 3 Green Bay Quarterbacks have won Super Bowls?  Maybe have Wisconsin native and super model/actress, Antje Utgaard, pictured on the left be a celebrity judge.

Only in Wisconsin.....Go Packers!.... That is the idea for the month of May 2023.
