Build a resort and resurrect Millican, Oregon

I imagine about twenty of these tiny houses which are designed by Antony Gibbon in a resort format with great views of the mountains and High Desert Country. They would be made with Western Red Cedar for sustainability.

Around 25 miles east of Bend, Oregon at an elevation of 4,304 feet is the unincorporated town of Millican, Oregon. It has a stated population of 4 people. The 75 acres that comprise this ghost town is up for sale for a mere $1,499,000 which still seems high because it is nearly $20,000 an acre and it is not  exactly a hot bed of economic activity as you can see from the photo below.

The Millican store obviously needs to be demolished. It has no architectural value. The resort would keep the name Millican to preserve history, but a history that can be appreciated and finally a town that could attract more then one resident.
The Helix Houses would stand like the sentinels of Easter Island and would be a big draw. Bend is a nice town, but they don't have a Helix House Resort like Millican would have.
This is so much better than the idea someone suggested of an RV park. That idea has been out there for years and it is an absolute dud. Take a look at the video below which gives an excellent idea of how well the Helix House Resort would give so much intriguing distinction to the barren and stark land around them. The Helix House Resort would put the forgotten town of Millican back on the map.

  1. Take this s*** down! The last thing Millican needs is a bunch of REI-wearin retards riding atvs - or worse, golf carts, across the landscape! Please, shove your millennial resort idea up your WSU.

    2. Also, the landscape of the area is NOTHING like the photos above.

    3. It doesn't matter the building would enhance that terrain and increase property value.
