Seabrook Washington

I did a field trip from Portland up to Seabrook, Washington to see a community based on the Seaside, Florida community. The Seabrook community has a few more hurdles and challenges. It does not have the warm Florida climate, nor the Aqua Velva Blue water of the ocean and the beautiful white sugar sand. However it does have an ocean view, a beach to walk on with no cars, and it is by far and away the nicest town on the Washington Coast. It is a night and day difference between Seabrook and the surrounding towns around it in physical appearance. While the towns within a 30 mile radius look bombed out, weathered, and still unrecovered from the 2008 recession, Seabrook looks like the proverbial city on the hill with nice new houses and massive construction still underway. I thought it would be cool if  one of the Telesvision stations did a feature story on Seabrook regarding the principals of "New Urbanism".
Above is me looking at part of the town from the edge of the ocean surf.
The photo above is looking out at the foggy ocean view through the trees out to the ocean.
This photo above is much clearer and shows a better view of how the ocean looks from the point of view from Seabrook.

There is a grocery store/market in Seabrook for families to use to stock up on supplies when they rent one of the many available homes in the community.
Above is one of the two restaurants that are currently operating in Seabrook. This one called Mill 109, I ate at for breakfast and the food I had was very good. It had some spotty reviews on Trip Advisor but like I said I was completely satisfied with my breakfast.
Above is a photograph of ongoing construction which will provide more restaurants and retail stores, and condos.
They are also constructing a movie theatre, a bed and breakfast, and a place where celebrity chefs from Seattle etc, can come down and put on cooking demonstrations.
Above is a typical style house/town home and below is the town hall where events like weddings and what not can be held. Sort of looks like a church with the bell tower and all on it.

Above is a photo of Frontagers Pizza on the corner here with Rusty Anchor Fitness next door to work off the calories from eating the good pizza.
Above is a rendering of what Seabrook will look like when construction is complete.  My only  suggestion to really put Seabrook on the map is to hire Antony Gibbon to install the Roost Treehouse
That would be cool to work that in to the community. There are many tall trees to use there in Seabrook and these structures would be incredible there for people to stay at. Just think of the view!
